Pirelli kondigt compounds voor Italiaanse GP aan

Bandenleverancier Pirelli heeft de drie beschikbare compounds voor de Italiaanse Grand Prix bekendgemaakt. De teams en coureurs kunnen voor het weekend op het circuit van Monza kiezen uit de medium, zachte en superzachte banden.

Dat is dezelfde bandenselectie als afgelopen weekend in Azerbeidzjan. Volgende maand rijden de renstallen en rijders ook in Groot-Brittannië en Hongarije met deze compounds. In de week na de Grand Prix van België zal Pirelli naar buiten brengen hoe de teams de dertien setjes banden over de drie verschillende compounds verdeeld hebben voor Italië.

De coureurs moeten één setje van de zachtste band reserveren voor het geval dat ze Q3 halen en één setje van beide hardere compounds overhouden voor de race, om er daar minstens één van te gebruiken.
