Rene Arnoux viert vandaag zijn 69ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Rene Arnoux is vandaag jarig. De Fransman heeft de leeftijd van 69 jaar bereikt. Arnoux reed tussen 1978 en 1989 voor teams als Martini, Surtees, Renault, Ferrari en Ligier. In totaal verscheen hij 149 keer aan de start van een Grand Prix en won hij zeven maal. Ook Ernie Pieterse (78 jaar, 2 Grand Prix-starts) viert vandaag zijn verjaardag. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Arnoux en Pieterse.
