Heikki Kovalainen ontkent uitspraken over management

Flavio Briatore heeft als manager helemaal niet twee keer een eerder debuut van Heikki Kovalainen in de Formule 1 geblokkeerd. Dat stelt de Lotus F1 Racing-coureur op zijn Twitter-pagina in een reactie op de berichten die gisteren naar buiten kwam.

Een Finse krant citeerde Kovalainen dat hij in 2004 en 2005 al bij Minardi en Williams aan de slag kon, maar dat zijn management dat in de weg stond. Onzin, zo verklaart de Fin. Het nieuws dat mijn zaakwaarnemer een eerdere stap naar de Formule 1 blokkeerde is absoluut niet waar. Vanaf het moment dat ik bij het opleidingsprogramma van Renault begon hadden we een plan en daar zijn we geen moment van afgeweken. Negeer de berichten uit Finland maar!
