De dag van de eerste overwinning van Mark Webber

Het is vandaag precies acht jaar geleden dat Mark Webber zijn eerste zege in de Formule 1 boekte. Op 12 juli 2009 vertrok de Australiër vanaf pole position voor Duitse Grand Prix op de Nürburgring en zestig ronden later kwam hij als eerste over de meet. Naast hem op het podium stonden Sebastian Vettel en Felipe Massa. Er zouden nog zeven overwinningen volgen voor Webber, maar de eerste was acht jaar geleden in Duitsland.
