Nürburgring wil nieuw Grand Prix-contract in de wacht slepen

De Nürburgring koestert de wens om de na 2011 aflopende verbintenis te verlengen. Het Duitse circuit wisselt de Grand Prix van Duitsland af met de Hockenheimring en die constructie bevalt alle partijen wel.

De Nürburgring zal binnenkort in gesprek gaan met Bernie Ecclestone over een nieuw contract. We geloven dat de Formule 1 economisch gezien nut heeft voor ons en daarom willen we de race graag behouden, besluit Nürburgring Automotive-directeur Joerg Lindtner tegenover persbureau DPA.
