McLaren-contract van Ron Dennis officieel ontbonden

Ron Dennis maakt sinds een paar dagen officieel geen onderdeel meer uit van de McLaren-organisatie. Journalist Adam Cooper kwam een document op het spoor waarin McLaren Racing Limited per 20 juli 2017 het contract van Dennis heeft laten ontbinden.

McLaren had vorige maand al medegedeeld dat Dennis de organisatie zou verlaten. De Brit moest eind vorig jaar al het veld ruimen als voorzitter van de Britse sportwagenfabrikant en eind juni heeft hij de aandelen die hij nog in beheer had verkocht aan de McLaren Group.

Nu is zijn contract als directeur van McLaren Racing officieel getermineerd. Ron Dennis zwaaide 37 jaar de scepter bij McLaren.
