Sauber reist met nieuw bodywork naar Hongarije af

Het team van Sauber introduceert komend weekend bij de Hongaarse Grand Prix het eerste deel van een omvangrijke update voor de C36. De Zwitserse renstal heeft nieuw bodywork en een nieuw koelingssysteem voor beide wagens meegenomen naar Hongarije. Na de zomerpauze volgt dan nog de komst van een nieuwe bodemplaat.

Coureur Marcus Ericsson kijkt uit naar het weekend op de Hungaroring. "Op naar de laatste race voor de zomerpauze! De Hungaroring is een circuit waar ik door de jaren heen vaak geweest ben. Het is een technische baan met interessante bochtencombinaties. Ik verheug me erop om komend weekend weer veel Zweedse fans te zien, zij motiveren me nog meer om goed te presteren."

"We hebben komend weekend wat nieuwe onderdelen voor de auto en het wordt interessant om een eerste indruk met deze aerodynamische updates op te doen. Hopelijk helpen de vernieuwingen ons een stapje vooruit zodat we weer aansluiting vinden bij het gevecht in de middenmoot."
