Codemasters lanceert nieuwe trailer voor game F1 2017

Nog minder dan een maand en dan ligt de nieuwe Formule 1-game in de schappen voor PC, Playstation 4 en Xbox One. Uitgever Codemasters heeft daarom een nieuwe trailer voor het spel gelanceerd. Daarin zijn huidige Formule 1-wagens en historische auto's te zien. De slogan voor de game luidt dan ook: "Born to… Make History."

Lee Mather van Codemasters: "We weten dat de fans de klassieke bolides die we de voorbije weken onthuld hebben zeer op prijs stelden, maar we weten ook dat ze de huidige auto's in actie willen zien. De 2017-wagens vormen een unieke uitdaging; ze zijn sneller dan voorheen, maar ook breder en zwaarder. Daarom moesten we het physics-gedeelte helemaal opnieuw ontwerpen voor de juiste balans tussen aerodynamica en grip van de banden."

Bonsai jij heb zeker nooit GP2 gespeeld? Toen net de Windows pc populair werd kreeg je het spel Grand Prix 2 van Geoff Crammond, dat was echt een ware revolutie, en achteraf werd steeds meer duidelijk hoe goed dat spel was!

    Super gaaf! Kan niet wachten tot deze op 25 augustus in de brievenbus ligt. Tevens is het dan tijd voor Spa. Het wordt zo een lange zomerstop. Zie liever dat ze de game lanceren aan het begin van de zomerpauze.

      Dan gaan veel mensen op vakantie, Tactisch niet de beste tijd om een game uit te brengen.

    Sinds 2015 zijn ze echt op de goede weg. De career-mode is dit jaar weer flink uitgebreid, en hopelijk is multyplayer nu eindelijk ook stabiel.

      Hopen dat ze een nieuwe engine hebben die niet zorgt voor enorme fps drops zoals in 2015 en 2016 versie, dus zo goed is die weg tot nu toe ook niet, dan heb ik het over de pc.

      Je kunt het natuurlijk alleen over graphics hebben inderdaad. Maar als je kijkt naar de opzet van de carriere en de multiplayer die steeds beter wordt, dan zijn ze echt wel op de goede weg.

      Wat ik nog altijd zeer knap vind is dat hoe mooier de graphics worden, hoe onrealistischer de wagens over het asfalt 'rijden'... of beter gezegd schuiven/glijden/zweven etc. Dit ziet er toch niet uit!

    Hopelijk is de AI wat slimmer. Vorige editie haalden ze je bijna niet in, en remden ze allemaal veel te vroeg voor de bocht (in een gevecht). Het hele veld werd vaak 1 grote trully train, achter mij.

      Ja ze rijden inderdaad allemaal exact dezelfde lijn tot op de millimeter. Ze kunnen wel degelijk aanvallen, maar elkaar inhalen vinden ze maar lastig.

    Wederom arcade gameplay....
    Weer een gemiste kans van codemasters.
    Op deze manier gaat het nooit een serieuze F1 game worden.

      Daar is het ook helemaal niet voor bedoeld. Als je een simulatie game wil moet je naar Project Cars of Assetto Corsa. Die hebben ook meer auto's dan alleen F1. Als je alleen F1 auto's hebt en een sim game dan wordt hij bijna niet verkocht.

      Nee daarom gebruikt ieder tv programma deze. Een echte F1 simulator zal voor de meeste de lol er vanaf halen, het gaat om het racen niet omdat je een engineer wilt zijn..

      RIDERTJE heeft helemaal gelijk..de geoff crammond games waren echt geweldig.
      En elk seizoen de nieuwe namen en liverys downloaden...of zelfs de oude namen en liverys kon je downloaden.

      Ik ben zelf 22 dus kende dat spel niet inderdaad. Zal eens gaan kijken of ik er iets van kan vinden!

      project cars is ook pruts de drivving physics , maar ze kunnen er natuurlijk gewoon een goede sim van maken , spel heeft goeie kanten maar de driving physics zijn ook hier een lachertje (max gaf wel aan dat het beter is geworden) en voor wie sim te moeilijk is kan je natuurlijk gewoon hulp inschakelen. dus wat mij betreft gemiste kans.
