FOM pleegde censuur met beelden van persconferentie

De persconferentie van de internationale autosportbond FIA van donderdag in Hongarije ging grotendeels over de invoering van de 'halo'. Degenen die de persconferentie live gezien hebben, vielen van hun stoel van verbazing toen Formula1.com later een samenvatting online zetten.

Formula One Management had alleen de coureurs die positief waren over de halo opgenomen in de samenvatting. De beelden van de tegenstanders waren er vakkundig uit gefilterd. Zo leek het net of de rijders unaniem lovend over de halo zijn, maar er heerst juist grote verdeeldheid op dit vlak.

Een knap staaltje van censuur van de Formule 1. Bild ging daarom langs bij Formula One Management en vroeg waarom ze deze keuze gemaakt hadden. "Dat is een redactionele beslissing geweest", reageerde een woordvoerder van FOM.

      Maar niet iedereen doet het blijkbaar even handig.
      Van de FOM was het wel heel opzichtig, ook wetende dat veel sites de persconferenties één op één uitschrijven en publiceren.

      ABGJ, zeker nooit op een COA rondgelopen, of woonachtig in een grote stad in een wijk waar heel veel asielzoekers wonen.
      Of laatste jaren via Calais naar de UK gereden ?

      Want kan je wel wat leuke anekdotes geven over deze omgevingen die je nooit hoort op het journaal of andere officele nieuwsbronnen.

    Vandaar ook alleen maar lofzang over onze Max van profeet Lammers en consorten.

      Max wordt er helemaal niet bijgehaald. Deze site wordt er als voorbeeld bij gehaald waarin wordt gezegd dat deze site niks anders doet, maar wel de FOM beschuldigd van censuur. En dan wordt het voorbeeld met Max genoemd omdat dat dagelijks op deze site gebeurd.

      Max wordt benoemd als onderdeel van een aantal artikelen op DEZE SITE waarin ook niet altijd alles benoemd wordt. Dat doet deze site omdat dit voor haar beter uitkomt qua doelgroep. Wat mij betreft niks mis mee, want je stemt het af op je doelgroep. Maar dat betekent wel dat je niet van 1 medium uit moet gaan. Het ging hier over de berichtgeving van deze site over Max en dus niet inhoudelijk over Max. Zelf misschien beter begrijpend lezen. ;-)

      Vind dat @Bonsai zeker gelijk heeft als hij zegt “dat je niet van één medium moet uitgaan.”

      Als je serieus wilt weten hoe het F1-wereldje draait kun je m.i. het beste meerdere sites bezoeken waaronder ook zeker buitenlandse.
      Wanneer je dat een tijdje doet, kom je er vanzelf achter welke betrouwbaar zijn en welke niet.

      Maar welke site je ook bezoekt, iedereen gaat wat betrouwbaarheid wel eens over de scheef, dus ‘moet’ je wel zelf op blijven letten.
