Renault-coureur Nico Hülkenberg was dit weekend even in Nederland. De Duitser verzorgde een demo bij de Gamma Racing Days op het TT-circuit van Assen. Allard Kalff zocht hem op voor een gesprek voor het online RTL GP-programma Slipstream op en vroeg Hülkenberg naar zijn band met Nederland, zijn relatie met Kevin Magnussen, zijn toekomst en zijn mening over de testdag van Robert Kubica in Hongarije. "Zijn aantal ronden was indrukwekkend."
