Verplichte sluiting Formule 1-fabrieken begonnen

De coureurs konden na in-season test na de Grand Prix van Hongarije beginnen aan hun welverdiende vakantie, voor de engineers en monteurs was het nog even doorzetten. De verplichte vakantie voor de fabrieken van de Formule 1-teams is deze week ook begonnen. Dat betekent een tweeweekse onderbreking van de activiteiten die bij de grotere teams 24 uur per dag, zeven dagen per week doorgaan.

De verplichte sluiting is al een tijd van kracht, zodat de monteurs en engineers ook kunnen genieten van tijd met hun gezin of een welverdiende vakantie. Ook is de sluiting bedacht om kosten te besparen, het is een publiek geheim dat het draaiende houden van de fabrieken een vermogen kost. Vanaf eind volgende week zullen de teams hun activiteiten weer oppakken om zich voor de bereiden op de Grand Prix van België.

5 dagen te laat geplaatst ? Lijkt me dat de fabriek rond 20 augustus toch echt weer open moet anders ga je Spa niet halen.
