Ian Scheckter viert vandaag zijn 70ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Ian Scheckter is vandaag jarig. De Zuid-Afrikaan heeft de leeftijd van 70 jaar bereikt. Ian Scheckter was tussen 1974 en 1977 actief in de Formule 1. Hij verscheen achttien maal aan de start van een Grand Prix, maar scoorde geen punten. Zijn beste resultaat was een tiende plaats in de Nederlandse Grand Prix van 1977. Hij is de oudere broer van Jody Scheckter, de wereldkampioen van 1979. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Ian Scheckter.
