Jaime Alguersuari: "Punten zijn mogelijk tijdens de race"

Jaime Alguersuari wil zijn eerste volledige Formule 1-seizoen met een hoogtepunt afsluiten. De Spanjaard kwalificeerde zich vandaag als zeventiende, één positie voor teamgenoot Sebastien Buemi, maar denkt dat punten mogelijk zijn tijdens de race.

Alguersuari is gedurende het seizoen steeds sterker geworden en liet de afgelopen vijf kwalificaties steeds teammaat Buemi achter zich. De 20-jarige is vastbesloten om het seizoen met een goed resultaat af te sluiten. "In dit soort races kan je veel crashes en ongelukken hebben, wat ons de kans moet geven om punten te scoren. We hebben er zeker een kans om, zolang we maar uit de problemen blijven en een goede strategie hebben", aldus Alguersuari.
