FIA doet voor Italië beroep op Pirro als extra steward

Emanuele Pirro is door de internationale autosportbond FIA ingeschakeld om de stewards bij te staan tijdens de Grand Prix van Italië. Sinds zijn eerste keer in Abu Dhabi 2010 vertolkte de Italiaan deze rol veelvuldig, maar dit seizoen is het pas zijn eerste oproep.

Pirro heeft zelf in de Formule 1 gereden. In 37 Grands Prix namens Benetton en Scuderia Italia scoorde hij drie punten. Meer furore maakte hij in de 24 Uur van Le Mans. De 50-jarige Italiaan schreef de lange afstands-race vijf keer op zijn naam.

      Snap daar helemaal niets van??Stel dat hij VET/KIM moet bestraffen dan breekt de pleuris uit!en kan hij beter emigreren.Zet dan lekker die Warwick daar neer.

      Ontevredenheid over de FIA en stewards neemt steeds meer toe. Vroeg of laat gaan ze voor de bijl. Weer een besluit die in een lange rij past waarbij menig wenkbrauw gefronst is.

      Nou, dan mogen jullie kiezen, Doornbos of Villeneuve, denk dat ik de uitslag al weet, Pirro zal best objectief blijven en uiteindelijk doet niemand het goed.

      Is dat anders als Brit Hamilton die geen straf krijgt voor het blokkeren in de kwalificatie van de Britse GP door een Britse steward? Of geldt dat alleen voor Ferrari?

    Het is toch onmogelijk uit te leggen dat de FIA nog niet heeft besloten om elk jaar dezelfde stewards te hanteren. Nu is het meten met 21 verschillende maten en bijvoorbeeld RAI krijgt een 10 sec stop/go penalty voor niet afremmen voor een gele vlag, en KVY krijgt alleen een drive trough voor het torpederen van SAI op Silverstone.

      Dubbele gele vlaggen negeren wordt altijd zo zwaar gestrafd, iets met Bianchi, niet afremmen en sterven.
