Wehrlein, Sainz en Alonso testen met 'halo' in Monza

Drie coureurs vangen de eerste vrije training voor de Italiaanse Grand Prix straks aan met de veelbesproken 'halo'. Pascal Wehrlein (Sauber), Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso) en Fernando Alonso (McLaren) rijden in hun eerste run met het systeem om de hoofden van rijders beter te beschermen.

De teams zijn weer volop met de halo in de weer nu de internationale autosportbond FIA het systeem verplicht heeft gesteld voor volgend seizoen. Vorige week testten Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren), Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) en Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) in België al met de halo.
