Pirro na Italië ook in Singapore in de wedstrijdleiding

Emanuele Pirro is door de internationale autosportbond FIA gevraagd om de stewards bij te staan tijdens de Grand Prix van Singapore. Sinds zijn eerste keer in Abu Dhabi 2010 vertolkte de Italiaan de rol van adviseur van de wedstrijdleiding veelvuldig, zoals twee weken geleden in Italië nog.

Pirro heeft zelf in de Formule 1 gereden. In 37 Grands Prix namens Benetton en Scuderia Italia scoorde hij drie punten. Meer furore maakte hij in de 24 Uur van Le Mans. De 50-jarige Italiaan schreef de lange afstands-race vijf keer op zijn naam.
