Alexander Rossi viert vandaag zijn 26ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Alexander Rossi is vandaag jarig. De Amerikaan blaast 26 kaarsjes uit op zijn verjaardagstaart. Rossi verscheen in 2015 vijf maal als de vervanger van Roberto Merhi namens Manor aan de start van een Grand Prix. Punten scoorde hij niet. Tegenwoordig is hij actief in de IndyCar. In 2016 schreef Rossi de Indy 500 op zijn naam. Ook oud-coureur Henri Pescarolo viert vandaag zijn verjaardag. De Fransman (57 Grand Prix-starts) heeft de leeftijd van 75 jaar bereikt. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Rossi en Pescarolo.

Rossi heeft mijns inziens laten zien wel F1 materiaal te zijn, maar heeft helaas geen kans gekregen. Als het hem niet meer lukt ergens in de komende 1 a 2 jaar een stoeltje te krijgen vrees ik dat ie te oud is en de teams hem niet meer als optie zullen beschouwen. Ik vind dat Haas hem eigenlijk e...
