Sepang verstrekt 5.400 gratis kaarten voor kinderen

Het Sepang International Circuit heeft 5.400 gratis kaarten verdeeld om kinderen aan te sporen om de Grand Prix van Maleisië komend weekend bij te wonen. Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi van het departement voor Speciale Zaken heeft de kaarten overhandigd aan lokale jeugdleiders, die de tickets weer verspreiden onder de jeugd in hun regio.

In een verklaring zegt hij: "Dit stelt kinderen in de gelegenheid om het succes van ons land in het organiseren van evenementen van wereldklasse met eigen ogen te aanschouwen. De Maleisische Grand Prix van dit jaar is de laatste editie van de Formule 1-race op Sepang na negentien succesvolle uitvoeringen sinds 1999. Volgend jaar neemt de MotoGP de plaats in van de Formule 1. We hopen de jeugd aan te moedigen om dan die race bij te wonen."
