Natte kwalificatie voor de Grand Prix van Japan dreigt

De kwalificatie voor de Japanse Grand Prix zou zich onder natte omstandigheden af kunnen spelen, zo zijn de laatste weersvoorspellingen voor Suzuka. De eerste vrije training is droog begonnen, maar de luchten boven de baan ogen dreigend en er wordt veel regen verwacht voor de tweede sessie.

De derde vrije training zou zich dan weer onder droge omstandigheden voltrekken, maar voor zaterdag rond de klok van 15.00 uur lokale tijd (08.00 uur Nederlandse tijd, wanneer de kwalificatie begint) bestaat een aanzienlijke kans op neerslag. Dat zou de grid door elkaar kunnen husselen.

Voor zondag verwachten ze geen regen, maar een stralende dag met 27 graden.
