Start van de tweede vrije training in Japan uitgesteld

Het begin van de tweede vrije training voor de Japanse Grand Prix is tot nader order uitgesteld door de barre weersomstandigheden in Suzuka. Het regent al een tijdje behoorlijk in Japan en er zit voor de teams en coureurs weinig anders op dan afwachten.

De baan ligt er kletsnat bij en de wedstrijdleiding is van mening dat de omstandigheden dusdanig extreem zijn dat rijden onverantwoord is. De FIA zal de safety car gedurende sessie meermaals naar buiten sturen om te beoordelen of de omstandigheden verbeteren, zodat het licht aan het einde van de pitstraat later deze training alsnog op groen kan.
