Liberty Media bekijkt mogelijkheden voor meer Aziatische races

Liberty Media onderzoekt de mogelijkheden om het aantal races in Azië verder uit te breiden. De eigenaar van de Formule 1 zou zich beraden op een race in Vietnam en een tweede race in China. Liberty Media sprak eerder dit jaar de ambitie om het aantal races uit te breiden naar 25.

In het verleden probeerde Bernie Ecclestone al een contract te sluiten voor een race in Vietnam, maar die deal ging niet door omdat de kleine Brit destijds genoeg races had in Azië. Liberty Media heeft de gesprekken met promotors in Vietnam weer opgepakt en bekijkt ook de mogelijkheden voor een tweede race in China. Mocht er een tweede race in China komen, dan zal deze race plaats moeten vinden in Peking. De locatie voor een mogelijke Grand Prix van Vietnam is nog niet bekend.

    Nou 25 GP's zijn echt veel dat vinden de kleiner teams niet leuk. En een GP in Vietnam gaat nergens over.

    Liberty Media kan beter de corruptie bij de FIA onder de loep nemen.
    Want deze race in Japan word maar 1 drs zone gebruikt !?
    Ook dit is om Red Bull maar niet tussen Mercedes en Ferrari te laten komen en zo het WK spannende houden.

    Thailand vanwege RedBull en verder India vanwege het land en haar plaats in de wereldgeschiedenis en de technische industrie en de toekomst wellicht auto-industrie Sowieso nu al geen kleine speler met de Mahindra-groep en Tata, maar ook als afzetmarkt voor alle merken zeer interessant en steeds interessanter.
