DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award in de VS naar Mercedes

Het team van Mercedes bezegelde in Austin niet alleen de volgende constructeurstitel. De Duitse renstal leverde tijdens de Grand Prix van de Verenigde Staten ook de snelste pitstop af en pakte zodoende de DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award voor dit evenement.

Mercedes had slechts 2,15 seconden nodig om de banden van Valtteri Bottas te verwisselen. Daarmee was het team zes honderdsten sneller dan de stop van Red Bull Racing-rijder Daniel Ricciardo. Ferrari completeert de top drie met een pitstop van 2,22 seconden.
