Kovalainen: "Verwachtingen voor 2011 zijn hooggespannen"

Heikki Kovalainen is officieel nog niet bevestigd bij Lotus F1 Racing voor volgend seizoen, maar de Fin is vrij zeker van zijn zaak dat hij bij de Maleisische renstal mag blijven. En na een geslaagd debuutseizoen voor het team is het in 2011 tijd om de aansluiting te vinden.

Ik verwacht dat we volgend jaar een grote stap vooruit zetten, daarom heb ik voor dit team gekozen, begint Kovalainen in Turun Sanomat. Het was destijds een risico om bij een volledig nieuwe renstal in te stappen, maar ik ben blij met de keuze die ik heb gemaakt en wat we afgelopen seizoen hebben bereikt. De verwachtingen voor 2011 zijn hooggespannen. Het zou een grote teleurstelling zijn als we geen sprong voorwaarts maken.
