Lewis Hamilton viert titel in hoofdkantoor van Petronas

Mercedes-coureur Lewis Hamilton is op tournee om zijn dit jaar veroverde wereldtitel te vieren. Na de bandentest in Abu Dhabi reisde hij naar Maleisië voor een tussenstop in het hoofdkantoor van Petronas in Kuala Lumpur. De Brit ging op de foto met medewerkers van de Maleisische oliemaatschappij, hoofdsponsor van Mercedes, en beantwoordde vragen van het personeel.

Hamilton: "Het is geweldig om hier in Kuala Lumpur te zijn. We wilden de titels hier vieren omdat Petronas zo invloedrijk is geweest. Ze hebben weer een belangrijke bijdrage aan onze successen geleverd. Na de laatste Grand Prix van het jaar en de bandentest op Yas Marina Circuit vlogen we daarom direct hiernaartoe, om het kampioenschap te vieren met de Petronas-familie."

"Betrouwbaarheid is een sleutelfactor in onze sport. De motor vormt het kloppende hart van de auto en Petronas voorziet ons van de vloeistoffen en smeermiddelen om de krachtbron soepel te laten lopen. Ik heb elke race uitgereden, mede dankzij Petronas. Ik ben jullie daar zeer dankbaar voor, zoals ik ook dankbaar ben voor het warme welkom dat jullie me gegeven hebben."
