Brazilië moet veiligheid rondom Grand Prix verbeteren

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de organisatie van de Braziliaanse Grand Prix opgedragen om een aantal aanbevelingen ten behoeve van de veiligheid over te nemen om de situatie te verbeteren voor de editie van komend seizoen. Tijdens het Formule 1-weekend in Sao Paulo dit jaar werden diverse busjes met Formule 1-personeel aangevallen door gewapende overvallers.

De FIA doet een beroep op de promotor van het evenement om de veiligheid van de werknemers uit de paddock te garanderen. In een verklaring staat: "De World Motor Sport Council heeft een rapport over de incidenten bij de Grand Prix van Brazilië ingezien. Naar aanleiding van dat rapport heeft de commerciële rechtenhouder geadviseerd dat de promotor, die verantwoordelijk is voor de veiligheid rondom het evenement, een onafhankelijke veiligheidsexpert inschakelt om de plannen te evalueren en waar nodig adviezen te geven."

"De implementatie van een tijdelijk politiestation op het circuit voor het raceweekend en de verbetering van de communicatie tussen de promotor, politie en de Formule 1-stakeholders zijn aanbevolen. De World Motor Sport Council drukt de promotor op het hart om deze aanbevelingen te implementeren en de situatie voor het volgende evenement te verbeteren. De FIA biedt aan om deel te nemen aan de discussies met de lokale autoriteiten en om de situatie nauwlettend in de gaten te houden."

  Komt er een andere plaats waar ze wel de veiligheid kunnen garanderen. Jammer dan van dit stuk race geschiedenis maar veiligheid gaat voor. Ze willen een HALO er op om extra veiligheid te geven op het circuit voor 1 racer maar als je buiten het circuit ga dan hebben vele de kans van een fatale overval......

Politie die wist dat er heel gevaarlijke bendes overvallen gingen doen maar zelf hebben besloten geen extra veiligheids maatregelen te nemen...

Er moeten dus eerst doden vallen voor de ogen open gaan.
Die mensen hebben helemaal niets, en het is een wonder dat er geen gewonden of doden zijn gevallen.

Maar ja 2018 zullen we zien wie er gelijk heeft.

  In die landen hebben de 'ordediensten' grijpgrage handjes, en werken meestal samen met de georganiseerde criminaliteit. Brengt immers veeel meer op!! Mensen die hun weg kennen in Latijns-Amerika, weten beslist wat ik bedoel. Ik zie twee opties: Of je vliegt alles in, of je blijft er weg! De criminaliteit daar krijg je niet zomaar weg.
