V8 Supercars weer in voorprogramma van Australische GP

De organisatie van de Grand Prix van Australië heeft de raceklasses ter ondersteuning van de Formule 1 voor de editie van 2018 bekendgemaakt. De populaire Australische V8 Supercars staat in maart weer in het voorprogramma van de Formule 1-race op Albert Park in Melbourne.

De Australian Grand Prix Corporation heeft daarnaast ook de Carrera Cup Australia, het Australische GT-kampioenschap en de Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli gestrikt voor het voorprogramma van de Grand Prix. Directeur Andrew Westacott is trots op het samengestelde programma.

"Met een line-up bestaande uit vermakelijke en competitieve raceklasses krijgen de fans een unieke race-ervaring waarbij ze kunnen genieten van het spektakel van met actie gevulde series. Het aanbod is zeer uitgebreid voor onze bezoekers en er staan ook steeds kampioenschapspunten op het spel", aldus Westacott.
