Formule 1 blijft in Duitsland op het open net te zien

Het heeft er alle schijn van dat de Formule 1-races in Duitsland ook in 2018 op het open net te zien zullen zijn. RTL en Liberty Media hebben bijna overeenstemming bereikt over een nieuw contract, meldt Bild. De huidige verbintenis van RTL met de Formule 1 loopt na dit jaar af.

Donkere wolken pakten zich samen boven de Duitse Formule 1-rechten, ook omdat Niki Lauda zijn afscheid als analist aankondigde. Nu lijkt er toch een doorbraak in de onderhandelingen geweest te zijn, al houdt een woordvoerder van RTL nog een slag om de arm. "Ik kan niets bevestigen. Er is geen contract. We zijn nog niet klaar."

Het verhaal gaat dat Nico Rosberg en Timo Glock in het nieuwe seizoen om en om als analist op zullen draven. RTL is ook in veel Nederlandse huiskamers te ontvangen en geldt als alternatief voor abonneezender Ziggo Sport of betaalkanaal Ziggo Sport Totaal.

    Was altijd een goed alternatief toen ik nog geen Ziggo had, maar die reclameblokken van tien minuten...

      Inderdaad 3 reclameblokken van 9-10 minuten, met races van nog geen 1,5 uur mis je dus gewoon 1/3 van de race

      Inderdaad,3 rondes voor het einde gewoon doodleuk nog reclame erin gooien. En uitgevallen coureurs interviewen en dan op een klein split screen de race nog uitzenden, ipv de race op t grote scherm en op een een klein schermpje dat hoofd van de coureur. Dramatisch

      k heb Telfort, moet dus automatisch Ziggo plus bijkopen om F1 te kijken. Nu blijkt dit zelfs iets goedkoper dan standaard Ziggo met gratis (beperkt) F1. En aangezien ik het 3 mnd uit kan zetten ben ik echt goedkoper uit. En je ziet alle races..F2, F3 en natuurlijk ja ja voetbal.

      @bonsai kpn heeft dat al jaren.
      Dubbele data, 5 euro korting per telefoon abbo op het adres. En de mogelijkheid om data onderling te delen

      Helaas is het nog niet mogelijk om het ziggo sport pakket te kiezen als gratis optie. Maar ik verwacht dat dit binnen afzienbare tijd wel gaat gebeuren.

      Zeker op het moment dat verstappen mee doet om de titel en de hype nog groter word.

    Paar keer gekeken op RTL. Nooit meer. Schijt irritant die lange reclameblokken en het verslag. Tijdens een voetbalwedstrijd zend je toch geen reclame uit midden in de wedstrijd.

    Timo Glock zou een verrijking zijn voor het commentaar team, die mocht bij RTL Nitro dit jaar de 24u vd Nurburgring doen samen met Alex Hoffmann: mooie mix van deskundigheid en enthousiasme. Liever had ik dat ze Hoffmann er bij zetten ipv Nico, maar ja, ex WK F1 of een ex-motorracer...

    Commerciele zender als RTL is echter geen 'open net'. Die definitie is alleen van toepassing op Publieke omroepen, zoals ook Duitsland die kent.... (ZDF, ARD, NDR,WDR, etc etc.)

      RTL Duitsland is net zo open als RTL Nederland(RTL4,RTL5,RTL7,RTLZ). Ze worden door de vele aanbieders standaard aangeboden naast de publieke omroepen. Je hoeft er niet extra voor te betalen.

      Die Duitse reut daar word ik niet vrolijk van. Als ik een paar dagen op vakantie ga naar Duitsland heb ik altijd mijn eigen Belgische trippeltjes bij mij. Dat reinheitsgebot kan mij gestolen worden.

    Schotel aanschaffen met een abonnement op canal digitaal en dan channel 4 kijken met ex engelse coureurs als commentatoren.
    Ze zenden echter maar plus minus 10 races uit (dit seizoen althans)
    Het zit op kanaal nr 313 bij channel four.

    Buiten de irritante reclameblokken is het verslag daar ook super irritant. Constant speculeren ook over zaken waarvan de oorzaak duidelijk of zichtbaar anders was. Maar goed bij gebrek aan wat anders.....

    Echt Héérlijk die reclameblokken van 10 minuten. Lekker ff een powernap en als je wakker wordt is het ff spannend wat er allemaal gebeurd is. Is dat geen reet dan heb je niks gemist...
