Venezuela steunt Williams en Maldonado via PDVSA

Venezuela steekt volgend seizoen geld in het team van Williams. Dat is een direct gevolg van de aanstelling van Pastor Maldonado als racecoureur voor 2011. De Venezolaan geniet al jaren de steun van de Venezolaanse petroleummaatschappij PDVSA.

Williams contracteerde de GP2-kampioen als opvolger van Nico Hülkenberg, maar repte in het persbericht met geen woord over sponsoring van PDVSA. De Venezolaanse president Hugo Chavez doet dat tegenover Europa Press wel. We steunen Pastor en zijn team volgend jaar via Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA).
