Circuit de Catalunya brengt eerste nieuwe asfaltlaag aan

Bij het Circuit de Catalunya in de buurt van Barcelona zijn de voorbereidingen op een nieuw autosportjaar in volle gang. De baan wordt dezer dagen voorzien van een nieuwe asfaltlaag. Vorige week is de oude strook asfalt verwijderd, deze week brengt men een eerste nieuwe asfaltlaag aan. De bedoeling is dat volgende week een tweede nieuwe asfaltlaag volgt. Enige haast is wel geboden; vanaf 26 februari vindt de eerste test ter voorbereiding op het Formule 1-seizoen 2018 plaats op het Circuit de Catalunya.
