McLaren onthult de bolide voor 2018 op 23 februari

Het team van McLaren is de volgende om de datum voor de presentatie van de nieuwe auto bekend te maken. De MCL33, zoals de nieuwe wagen genoemd wordt, wordt op 23 februari onthuld. Dat zal gebeuren door middel van een online presentatie.

De MCL33 is de eerste McLaren met Renault-motoren. Directeur Zak Brown liet eerder al doorschemeren dat er de nodige visuele veranderingen voor de bolide op stapel staan, zoals een gewijzigde kleurstelling. McLaren is in navolging van Ferrari (22 februari) en Scuderia Toro Rosso (25 februari) het derde team dat de presentatiedatum naar buiten heeft gebracht.
