Races met historische F1-auto's in voorprogramma Britse GP

Fans die erover nadachten om in 2018 de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië op Silverstone te bezoeken hebben mogelijk een zetje in de rug gekregen. In het voorprogramma van de Britse Grand Prix staan dit jaar namelijk twee races met historische Formule 1-auto's uit de jaren zeventig en tachtig. Masters Historic Racing, tevens de drijvende kracht achter het FIA Masters Historic Formula One-kampioenschap, is verantwoordelijk voor de races.

Masters Historic Racing zal deelnemers uit zowel het FIA Masters Historic Formula One-kampioenschap als de Masters USA Series uitnodigen om mee te doen aan de wedstrijden in het voorprogramma van de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië. Het weekend van 5 tot en met 8 juli is de enige gelegenheid in Europa om de historische wagens dit jaar in het voorprogramma van een Formule 1-race te aanschouwen.

Silverstone-directeur Stuart Pringle: "We vragen onze bezoekers geregeld voor feedback over hoe we hun ervaring tijdens het Grand Prix-weekend kunnen verbeteren. Meer actie op de baan en de kans om klassieke Formule 1-wagens te zien staan altijd hoog op de lijst. Met twee races met historische Formule 1-auto's slaan we twee vliegen in één klap. Het is een geweldige aanwinst voor de Britse Grand Prix in het jaar dat Silverstone zijn 70-jarig jubileum viert."

Donderdagavond zuipen .
Vrijdagochtend ontbijten en dan vrije trainingen bezoeken , daarna zuipen.
Zaterdagochtend ontbijten / zuipen en vrije treening bezoeken, s middags barbeknoeien en kotsificatie en zuipen tot je er bij neervalt.

  Goed voor elkaar @Marco, alleen al het voorprogramma met de Masters Historic Racing is een bezoekje waard.
  Organiseren kunnen die Britten wel.

Jammer dat dit Masters Historic Racing niet bestaat uit F1 bolides t/m jaar 2005 ofzo, een veld bestaande uit V8/V12 en de laatste V10's.
En in het voorprogramma van iedere gp in actie komt. Dat zou wel iets meer drama en opwinding teweegbrengen dan de hedendaagse stofzuigers.

Al bekend wat het voorprogramma wordt in Hockenheim?
Aangezien de f2 en f3 daar niet gaan rijden...
Is anders balen van de tickets, enkel voor de f1 is nogal veel geld.

  Zondag zuipen ,iedereen verrot schelden vanwege hoofdpijn ,barbeknoeien omdat je toch wat eten moet en dan naar de baan zwalken .
  Tijdens de race zoveel mogelijk herrie maken en er ook nog zoveel mogelijk biertjes achterover gooien en na de race iedereen omver lopen omdat je als eerste bij de uitgang wil zijn om je roes uit te slapen in je tent en dan Maandagochtend broodnuchter weg rijden van de camping.

  Normaal is het voor mij ook wel tussendoor bier en worsten, maar deze keer gaan mijn vrouw en zoontje mee dus zal me moeten gedragen :-)
  
  Langs de andere kant wil ik natuurlijk een vol programma hebben, was teleurgesteld toen bekend werd dat deze races niet door gingen in het voorprogramma. Hopelijk snel meer info.
