F1-uitzendrechten in Italië exclusief naar Sky Italia

Waar veel Italiaanse Formule 1-fans voor vreesden is vandaag werkelijkheid geworden. Liberty Media heeft naar buiten gebracht dat Sky Italia van 2018 tot en met 2020 de exclusieve zendgemachtigde voor de Formule 1-races voor Italië is. Dat betekent dat de Formule 1 in het land van Ferrari achter de decoder verdwijnt.

Sky Italia verlengde het contract met de Formule 1 en zal de komende drie jaar verslag doen van alle sessies van de Grands Prix. Per seizoen zullen wel minstens vier raceweekenden op het gratis toegankelijke TV8, dat tot hetzelfde netwerk behoort als Sky Italia, te zien zijn.

Ian Holmes, directeur mediarechten bij de Formule 1: "We zijn heel blij dat we ook de komende drie seizoenen te volgen zullen zijn op Sky Italia. Italië is een van de belangrijkste landen in de geschiedenis van de Formule 1. De passie voor onze sport zit bij de mensen in het bloed en het was van belang om een akkoord te bereiken zodat de races de komende jaren daar ook live te zien zullen zijn."

"Daarnaast is het cruciaal dat we de Formule 1 ook toegankelijk maken via een publieke zender en dat we afspraken hebben gemaakt over het uitzenden van vier Grands Prix op het open net, waaronder altijd de Italiaanse Grand Prix. Sky Italia heeft vanaf het begin een enorme toewijding richting de sport tentoongespreid en zal de Italiaanse fans een diepere en bredere ervaring bieden, met meer uren Formule 1 en kwaliteitsanalyses via de diverse kanalen en platforms."

Duitsland

Ander nieuws uit het medialandschap rondom de Formule 1; in Duitsland houdt Sky Deutschland juist op met het uitzenden van de koningsklasse van de autosport. De Grands Prix zullen voor Duitse fans alleen via RTL te zien zijn. RTL is ook in veel Nederlandse huishoudens te ontvangen, maar heeft als nadeel de vele reclameonderbrekingen tijdens de races.

Ik begrijp dat het nodig is maar doe het dan kleiner of zendt het niet life uit maar met uiteindelijk een vertraging van 30 minuten.

De F1 maakt het wel steeds moeilijker om de F1 succesvol te laten zijn.

Doe een mix: uitgebreid en live achter de decoder en na een paar uur op de "gewone" tv die daar uiteraard wel voor betalen. Dan trek je tenminste nieuwe kijkers aan.

Ook de sponsoren zullen daar blij mee zijn want hebben ze ineens miljoenen extra kijkers.

Dan gaat daar in Italië hetzelfde gebeuren als wat in de andere landen is gebeurd.
Heel veel mensen zullen dan afhaken.
Ikzelf ben tijdelijk afgehaakt toen F1 hier achter de decoder ging. Een bewuste keuze.
Mondjesmaat via internet hield ik mij op de hoogte.

Dat wordt dan streamen in Italië...

Er is met een beetje zoeken gewoon een perfecte stream te vinden van Sky. Kost niks en uitstekend commentaar.
