De Chileense hoofdstad Santiago de Chile vormde dit weekend het decor voor de vierde race van het Formule E-seizoen 2017/2018. Het team van Techeetah ging daar verrassend met een 1-2 aan de haal; Jean-Eric Vergne won voor teamgenoot Andre Lotterer. De twee reden niet in slagvolgorde naar de streep en knokten echt met elkaar om de overwinning. Het laatste plekje op het podium ging naar Sebastien Buemi.     1 van de betere FE races. Vooral de laatste 10 ronden waren goed.

    Minimum pitstop tijd verwijderd (eindelijk!) is natuurlijk goed, zorgt voor meer verschil en dat het team dat de pitstop het beste voor elkaar heeft er winst kan uithalen.

    Wat ik me wel afvraag is hoe het volgend jaar gaat werken als er niet meer van auto gewisseld hoeft te worden. Geen pitstops meer? Of zachtere banden zodat er een pit stop voor banden gemaakt moet worden?
