In-season test op Hungaroring nog niet helemaal rond

De Formule 1 heeft voor komend seizoen twee in-season tests gepland. De eerste vindt plaats op het Circuit de Catalunya nabij Barcelona op de dinsdag en woensdag na de Grand Prix van Spanje. Over de tweede in-season test bestaat nog een beetje onduidelijkheid.

De bedoeling is dat die tweedaagse testsessie plaatsvindt op de Hungaroring, op 31 juli en 1 augustus. Dat is echter nog niet helemaal rond, vernam Szagaldo Cirkusz van GPhirek.hu van de voorzitter van het circuit in de buurt van de Hongaarse hoofdstad Boedapest.

"De gesprekken met de Formule 1 over de in-season test in de week na de Grand Prix van Hongarije verlopen voorspoedig, maar er is nog niets officieel. De onderhandelingen met bandenleverancier Pirelli en de tien Formule 1-teams zijn nog gaande", aldus Cirkusz.
