Ho-Pin Tung is wel wat gewend. Maar toen Land Rover hem vroeg de Dragon Challenge aan te gaan, moest hij toch even goed nadenken. 99 Bochten en een trap van 999 treden - met op het steilste gedeelte een stijgingspercentage van 45 graden - bedwingen. Bizar? Ja. Desalniettemin ging Tung de uitdaging aan.

De Tianmen-berg met Heavens Gate in China is een mythisch gebergte. Alleen de aanblik boezemt al ontzag in. Toch zag Land Rover er ook vooral een uitdaging in. Ze bedachten de Dragon Challenge waarbij de Range Rover Sport Plug-In Hybrid de Tianmen-Berg moest bedwingen. Met achter het stuur Ho-Pin Tung. "Dit was het meest uitdagende wat ik ooit in mijn leven zal meemaken."
