Tijdstippen voor presentaties van Mercedes en Ferrari

Het spoorboekje voor donderdag 22 februari is bekend. Morgen onthullen titelkandidaten Mercedes en Ferrari hun bolides voor het seizoen 2018. Regerend kampioen Mercedes bijt het spits af. Rond 11.15 uur Nederlandse tijd slingert de Duitse renstal een eerste afbeelding van de W09 de wereld in.

Mercedes combineert de presentatie van de nieuwe auto met een shakedown op het circuit van Silverstone. Bottas voelt de W09 als eerste aan de tand, Lewis Hamilton is later aan de beurt. Vanaf 13.10 uur is de presentatie van de wagen live te volgen via de website, de Facebook-pagina en het Youtube-kanaal van Mercedes.

Om 13.45 uur verspreidt de Duitse renstal een pakket met informatie voor de pers, waaronder meer afbeeldingen van Bottas in actie met de W09, de technische specificaties, studio-afbeeldingen van de nieuwe auto en quotes van de coureurs en de teamleiding. Rond 16.00 uur publiceert Mercedes foto's van de eerste meters van Hamilton in de auto.

Op dat moment is de aandacht mogelijk verschoven naar de nieuwe bolide van Ferrari. De Scuderia presenteert de wagen voor komend seizoen namelijk om 15.00 uur. De nieuwe auto van de Italiaanse renstal heeft nog geen typeaanduiding en gaat met de codenaam 'Project 669' door het leven. De presentatie van Ferrari is te volgen op de website en de Facebook-pagina van het team.
