Toro Rosso blijft trouw aan kleurstelling van vorig jaar

Scuderia Toro Rosso verricht vandaag een shakedown met de nieuwe STR13 op het circuit van Misano. Net als bij de filmdag van grote broer Red Bull Racing maandag op Silverstone werken de weergoden niet echt mee. Het regent in Italië. Dat weerhoudt Pierre Gasly niet om kilometers te maken met zijn nieuwe speeltje. Het lijkt erop dat Toro Rosso de livery van vorig jaar ongemoeid laat, ondanks de komst van Honda als nieuwe motorleverancier.

      Ik denk het ook, niet alleen maar vanwege de motor maar het (zeer onervaren) rijdersduo vind ik ook niet bijzonder talentvol. Deze coureurs waren ook maar een noodoplossing omdat er momenteel geen (eigen) betere talenten zijn uit de kweek.

    Redelijk brede side-pods, rugvin, Halo..., Zelfde kleur... Honda in de rode streep vermeld... Vooral dat laatste gaat ervoor zorgen dat ze voor P9 - P10 gaan strijden...

    ik zou ze nog graag n keer naast elkaar zien, of er toch kleine livery changes zijn.
    Ik vond 'm prachtig hoor, toen t doek eraf ging in 2017. Maar exact tzelfde als het vorig jaar laat direct mij interesse wegzakken. Zo'n 'deze ken ik al' gevoel.

    Toro Rosso weet natuurlijk ook wel dat het risico dat er een foto gemaakt kan worden aanwezig is. Wie zegt dat dit de nieuwe livery is? en ze niet expres de oude kleurstelling gebruiken?

      Weet ik niet, maar het lijkt mij nogal een kostbare grap om de wagen 4 dagen later in een andere livery naar buiten te laten rijden.
