Marcus Ericsson op eerste testdag in actie voor Sauber

Het team van Sauber heeft het testschema voor de eerste wintertest in Barcelona gepubliceerd. Marcus Ericsson rijdt maandag en woensdag voor de Zwitserse renstal. De dinsdag en donderdag zijn gereserveerd voor nieuwkomer Charles Leclerc.

Bij Sauber is deze winter het nodige veranderd. De meest in het oog springende wijziging is de nieuwe kleurstelling, mede ingegeven door de komst van Alfa Romeo als titelsponsor en technische partner. De C37 is gehuld in de kleuren wit en bordeauxrood.

De Zwitserse renstal beschikt komend seizoen ook over de nieuwste specificatie Ferrari-motoren, in tegenstelling tot vorig jaar. Daarnaast heeft Sauber voor de nieuwe auto een ander aerodynamisch concept gehanteerd dan bij de wagen van vorig jaar.

Dat Verstappen en Stroll een Belgische link hebben, dat is algemeen bekend, maar Charles Leclerc? Het is een (echte) Monegask, dwz aldaar geboren. Wat wil je dan met "onze Belgische vriend" zeggen, dat ontgaat me even?
