Nicolas Kiesa viert vandaag zijn 40ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Nicolas Kiesa is vandaag jarig. De Deen blaast 40 kaarsjes uit op zijn verjaardagstaart. Kiesa was in het laatste deel van het seizoen 2003 de teamgenoot van Jos Verstappen bij Minardi, waar hij de naar Jaguar verhuisde Justin Wilson opvolgde. Hij reed vijf Grands Prix en finishte ze allemaal, met een elfde plaats als beste klassering. Later fungeerde hij nog als testrijder voor Jordan. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Kiesa.

Bij Kiesa moet ik toch denken aan een f3000 race in monaco waarbij bjorn wirdheim zich vergiste in de finishlijn , al aan het juichen was , zijn team hem aanspoorde om gas te geven en Kiesa er met de overwinning vandoor ging.
