Renault kondigt met softwarebedrijf Plataine nieuwe partner aan

Renault heeft een nieuwe partner mogen verwelkomen. Het softwarebedrijf Plataine zal de fabriek van de Fransen in Enstone uitrusten met een industrieel Internet of Things.

De technologie van Plataine zal in de productielijn van Renault gebruikt worden om de productie van composieten te stroomlijnen. Volgens het persbericht is het bedrijf gekozen door haar ervaring met de laatste ontwikkelingen in het industriële Internet of Things en kunstmatige intelligentie met betrekking tot de productie van composieten.

Technisch directeur Bob Bell van Renault kijkt uit naar de samenwerking met Plataine. "Ons composieten-productieteam heeft te maken met veel ontwerpen, ruwe materialen en real-time productiedata. Om de productie in de eerste poging goed te laten gaan, hebben we gekozen om onze operatie te verbeteren met de Internet of Things-oplossing van Plantaine. Deze technologie stelt ons in staat om onze productieprocessen te stroomlijnen en te digitaliseren."
