FIA benoemt voormalig Ferrari-man Tombazis als hoofd single seaters

De FIA heeft Nikolas Tombazis aangesteld als directeur voor de single seaters. Dat bericht Autosport. Tombazis was in het verleden de hoofdontwerper van het Formule 1-team van Ferrari en was meest recentelijk in dienst van Manor, totdat het team begin vorig jaar failliet ging.

Bij de FIA zal Tombazis directeur single seaters worden en krijgt hij belangrijke verantwoordelijkheden binnen de Formule 1, Formule 2 en Formule 3. Hij wordt hoogstwaarschijnlijk verantwoordelijk verantwoordelijk voor het bepalen van de langetermijnstrategie voor de belangrijke single seater-kampioenschappen en zal in die hoedanigheid ook helpen bij het framen van nieuwe technische en sportieve reglementen.

In zijn rol zal Tombazis nauw samenwerken met FIA's technisch directeur Gilles Simon en racedirecteur Charlie Whiting.

    Eigenlijk zou in de kop "voormalig Manor" moeten zijn met als toevoeging in verhaal dat hij ook bij Ferrari gewerkt heeft. Beetje tendentieuze kop en dan ben ik geen Ferrari fan.

      Als je naar het aantal dienstjaren kijkt klopt het wel.
      1 jaartje Manor maar.

      Als ik die lijst zie, lijkt het me gewoon een man die veel ervaring heeft in de eenzitters en daarom zijn positie heeft verdiend.

    Hoppa nog een ex Ferrari man bij de Fia.

    Dit zou verboden moeten worden, ze helpen Ferrari nu al zo ontzettend veel, als er na todt nog ferrari mensen bij komen is de geloofwaardigheid ver te zoeken.

    En de Ex Teambaas van Mercedes is de chief van de FIA nu ... so what? makes no difference...
    Todt is ook jaren Ferrari lid geweest, hij is nu toch ook geen aanpassingen aan het doen in het voordeel van Ferrari?
