DHL gaat door als logistiek partner van de Formule 1

DHL heeft het contract als logistiek partner van de Formule 1 verlengd. Een week voor aanvang van het nieuwe seizoen hebben het vervoersbedrijf en de koningsklasse van de autosport aangekondigd dat ze hun samenwerking zullen voortzetten. DHL is al sinds 2004 partner van de Formule 1. De looptijd van de nieuwe verbintenis is niet bekendgemaakt.

DHL verbindt zich tevens als eerste partner aan de F1 eSports Series. Daarnaast blijft de firma naamgever voor de prijzen voor de snelste ronde en de snelste pitstop bij de Grands Prix. Het belangrijkste is natuurlijk dat DHL ervoor zorgt dat alle spullen van de teams op tijd op de juiste locatie komen. Met dit jaar voor het eerst een serie van drie races in drie achtereenvolgende weekenden wacht weer een nieuwe logistieke uitdaging.

Sean Bratches, commercieel directeur van de Formule 1: "Ik ben verguld dat we onze langlopende samenwerking met DHL, de officiële logistiek partner van de Formule 1, verlengd en verstevigd hebben. In onze sport gebeurt alles op de hoogste snelheid en precisie en punctualiteit zijn daarbij sleutelelementen. Deze eigenschappen bezit DHL en vormen een garantie voor het verdere succes van deze relatie."
