Frijns racet ook in 2018 voor Team WRT in Blancpain Series

Robin Frijns gaat de DTM dit jaar combineren met een programma in de Blancpain Series. De Nederlander zal daarin weer uitkomen voor Team WRT, het team waarmee hij ook aan de 24 uur van de Nürburgring deel zal nemen.

Voor de Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup vormt Frijns een duo met Stuart Leonard. Dat tweetal verdedigt hun titel met hun vertrouwde startnummer 17. Voor de Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup krijgen Frijns en Leonard gezelschap van Sheldon van der Linde. Frederic Vervisch vervangt Frijns wanneer de Nederlander verhinderd is door verplichtingen in de DTM.

Het Blancpain-seizoen 2018 gaat in het weekend van 7 en 8 april van start op het circuit van Zolder.
