Formule 1 en Netflix werken samen aan documentaire-serie

Er komt begin 2019 een serie mini-documentaires over de Formule 1 op Netflix te staan. De Formule 1 heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat het streamingplatform in 2018 de koningsklasse van de autosport zal volgen, wat zal resulteren in een serie mini-documentaires.

Met de serie zal het publiek dichter naar de Formule 1 getrokken worden. De productiemaatschappij heeft onbeperkte toegang tot coureurs, teamleden en het management van de sport zelf. Netflix heeft tien afleveringen van de serie besteld en het doel van de serie is om het intense gevecht, het hart, de ziel en de toekomstbeelden van de Formule 1 in beeld te brengen. Sophie Todd zal optreden als presentatrice, James Gay Rees en Paul Martin zijn de uitvoerend producenten.

"De Formule 1 is een globale sport, die we actief rebranden van motorsportbedrijf naar een media en entertainmentmerk", zegt commercieel directeur Sean Bratches van de Formule 1. "De overeenkomst met Netflix laat de fascinerende verhaallijnen gedurende het seizoen zien. Dit is een perspectief van de sport waar de fans nog geen toegang tot gehad hebben. Deze serie zal een interessante inkijk in de sport leveren, dat fans zal plezieren en ook nieuwe fans zal aantrekken."

    Nog meer documentaires over de F1..... je wordt dood gegooid met die documentaires internet staat er vol van!! Netfix wil er aan verdienen anders was het niet interessant genoeg geweest voor Netfix.

    Wat hebben jullie vanochtend gedronken, azijn? Dit kan toch best leuk worden, wat betreft het rebranded ben ik ook wat terughoudend, maar ik vind de graphics die ze ingevoerd hebben al een hele vooruitgang.

      Ja niet te geloven, zuur volkje zijn we. Gelijk negatief tegen alles wat veranderd zijn. Een leuk initiatief, ik heb Netflix dus ga het zeker kijken.

      Heeft niks te maken met meegaan met de tijd, dat vind ik prima. Maar dat ze het willen rebranden van motorsportbedrijf naar een media en entertainmentmerk, daar stoor ik me aan. Met andere woorden het sportieve aspect is blijkbaar minder belangrijk voor de huidige eigenaren.

      En mbt nieuwe vormgeving. De cijfertjes zijn te klein. Ik moet de leesbril er voor opzetten maar dan moet ik n plekje op anderhalve meter vd tv zoeken. Hadden die cijfers niet wat groter gekund?
