Russische staat blijft Vitaly Petrov financieel ondersteunen

Vitaly Petrov blijft verzekerd van steun uit Rusland. De Russische coureur tekende onlangs een nieuw contract bij Lotus Renault GP voor twee jaar jaar en de Russische staat zal Petrov financieel blijven ondersteunen.

Petrov zou dichtbij een nieuwe overeenkomst zijn met Rostekhnologii, een bedrijf dat in handen is van de Russische staat. "Hij heeft zeker alle steun nodig", vertelde minister-president Vladimir Poetin. "Vooral financiële steun kan hij wel gebruiken."

    Eerste f1-coureur die financieel steun krijgt van een moderne dictator. Petrov weet waar je aan begint. Voor je weet ben je eigendom van Russische staat en bij slechte prestaties word je opgesloten.

      Die slechte prestaties heeft hij al gehad ...

      Wellicht dat een Russische afvaardiging even bij Renault F1 langs is geweest om ze te helpen met hun beslissing voor de 2e rijder ;)

      dat is dan vast en zeker de russische [F1GB. het zal hem een worst wezen, hij kan weer 2 jaar rijden en zo verkeerd deed hij het niet ofwel.

      Petrov heeft het hele seizoen rookiefouten blijven maken en boekte nooit progressie.. Hij had tevens het grootste gat tussen twee ploegmaats op zijn naam staan. Schumacher moet volgens vele oprotten, maar Petrov deed het zo slecht nog niet.

      Tja, ligt eraan wat je onder een \'moderne dictator\' verstaat. Als Péron er ook zoeentje was, van Argentinië, dan is Juan Manuel Fangio ook in de Formule 1 terecht gekomen op die manier. Péron richtte zelfs een speciaal team op voor Fangio (ACA) om hem in de Formule 1 te krijgen!

      Vergeet je Chaves niet.Op deze manier zullen we helemaal geen ned meer zien in de f1 en ook steeds minder in de andere klasses wanneer de landen van een rijder hun sponseren.

      @Patrovl, dit jaar was PET toch niet zo heel slecht? en in 2009 was ie 2e in de GP2 voor di Grassi Grosjean en volgens mij ook Maldonado..... Ik vind hem niet echt een paydriver gezien ie de vorige 2e coureur van Renault ook in de GP2 de baas was.
      Ik vind dat ie dit jaar wel domme fouten heeft gemaakt maar wel ook voor wat spanning zorgde dus tja..dan weer de vraag wie zou het beter kunnen? die voor Renault/Lotus ook nog de nodige Roebels in het laatje brengt?

      Vergeet niet dat Grosjean het seizoen niet heeft afgemaakt, juist omdat hij tweede coureur is geworden bij Renault..
