Marc Gene viert vandaag zijn 44ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Marc Gene is vandaag jarig. De Spanjaard mag 44 kaarsjes op zijn verjaardagstaart uitblazen. Gene verscheen namens Minardi en Williams 36 maal aan de start van een Grand Prix. Daarin verzamelde hij vijf punten. Na zijn actieve Formule 1-loopbaan fungeerde hij nog jarenlang als testrijder voor Ferrari, en in 2009 wist hij de 24 uur van Le Mans te winnen met Peugeot. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Gene.
