Danny Sullivan in Bahrein adviseur van de stewards

Danny Sullivan is door de internationale autosportbond FIA opgeroepen als oud-coureur ter ondersteuning van de wedstrijdleiding voor de Grand Prix van Bahrein van komend weekend. De Amerikaan assisteerde de stewards vorig seizoen in totaal vier keer; in Bahrein, Azerbeidzjan, Groot-Brittannië en Maleisië.

Sullivan heeft maar één seizoen in de Formule 1 gereden. In 1983 kwam hij uit voor Tyrrell en scoorde hij in vijftien Grands Prix twee punten. Meer roem vergaarde hij in de Verenigde Staten door in 1985 de Indy 500 op zijn naam te schrijven en in 1988 kampioen te worden in de IndyCar.
