Opslagruimte op Bahrain International Circuit vat vlam

Aan de vooravond van de Grand Prix van Bahrein is het Bahrain International Circuit door een vervelend probleem getroffen. Een opslagruimte vatte op woensdag vlam, zo maakte het circuit zelf bekend op social media.

Een probleem met de airconditioning veroorzaakte de brand in een van de opslagruimtes. Op een foto van een van de tribunes op het circuit, waaronder de brand was uitgebroken, zijn dikke rookpluimen te zien. Enkele zitjes lijken zwart te zijn van de as, maar het circuit benadrukt dat er geen grote schade aan het circuit is. Een aantal winkels hebben schade opgelopen, maar er zullen geen gevolgen zijn voor het raceweekend. De geplande races zullen dan ook allemaal doorgaan.

    Dus onder het circuit ligt de grootste olieveld die voor enkele dagen terug is ontdekt. Hier kunnen ze wat mee doen om het spektakel en amusement te verhogen.
