Kubica annuleert inschrijving voor de Monte Carlo Rally

Renault-coureur Robert Kubica neemt toch niet deel aan de Monte Carlo Rally. Dat onthult Autosport. Voor het tweede opeenvolgende jaar is een poging van de Pool om aan de rally in Monaco mee te doen mislukt.

In 2010 was een falende motor in de proloog er schuldig aan dat Kubica niet aan de officiële start kwam, nu zijn het contractuele verplichtingen aan Renault die roet in het eten gooien. Kubica was op zoek naar een Super 2000-auto van een ander merk omdat Renault geen beschikbare voertuigen in die topklasse van het IRC heeft. De Franse autofabrikant laat Kubica echter niet voor een ander merk rijden.
