Danny Sullivan draaft ook in China op als extra steward

Danny Sullivan mag komend weekend weer de wedstrijdleiding versterken voor de Grand Prix van China. De Amerikaan voorzag de stewards van de internationale autosportbond FIA afgelopen weekend in Bahrein ook al van adviezen.

Sullivan heeft maar één seizoen in de Formule 1 gereden. In 1983 kwam hij uit voor Tyrrell en scoorde hij in vijftien Grands Prix twee punten. Meer roem vergaarde hij in de Verenigde Staten door in 1985 de Indy 500 op zijn naam te schrijven en in 1988 kampioen te worden in de IndyCar.

De andere twee stewards voor de Chinese Grand Prix luisteren naar de namen José Abed (oprichter van de Mexicaanse autosportbond) en Nish Shetty (rechter in het hof van beroep bij de FIA).
